How to use Office Map Editor
Nine short steps from an empty page to a map on your office screens. For every button and option, see the full Office guide or Store guide.
- 1
Choose Office or Store
Use the switch at the top left of the editor. Each mode has its own elements and templates: desks and meeting rooms for offices, shelves, checkouts and departments for stores.

Start from a template or your own floor plan
Open Templates and pick a ready layout, or upload a picture of your floor plan and trace over it. Nothing needs an account — your work is kept in this browser.

Draw walls and zones, place furniture
Pick an item in the left panel and click the map. Drag to move, use the corner handles to resize. Zones get dashed borders and a name so visitors see departments and rooms at a glance.

Add people and details
Select a desk and fill in “Who sits here”. Names appear on the map and in People. In a store, name each department so shoppers can find it.

Set “You are here”
Click a spot on the map (for example the entrance) and press “Set as You are here”. Every route on the shared link then starts from that spot, and a large marker shows it.
- 6
Build a route
Open Wayfinding, pick From and To — or just tap two points. The route goes around walls and furniture and shows distance and walking time.
- 7
Share the map
Press Share map in the top bar — no account needed. Copy the link and send it; guests can build their own routes without signing up.
- 8
Show it on office screens
In the Share map window press Copy HTML code. In BuzzBlender open a playlist → Media → Web Page → HTML embed, paste the code and press Add Embed.
- 9
Keep it up to date
Changed the map? Open Share map and press “Push my latest changes to this link”. Everyone with the link and every screen sees the new version — no need to resend or paste again.
